Eleanor Dewar

Eleanor joined BlueAssist UK in 2012 as one of the first Trustees. As the organisation changed and developed, they agreed to take on the role of CEO. With a wide ranging academic background, Eleanor is a published academic in the field of disability and is working towards a PhD on the philosophy of Neurodivergence.
Eleanor’s previous experience of social inclusion includes frontline grassroots social care work, through to working with major organisations. There is no job too big or too small for Eleanor, who’s work entails ensuring the welfare of trainees during training sessions, up to and including working at governmental level. As the charity returns to full power in 2023 Eleanor is the driving force behind the ethos of BlueAssist UK. They believe that by daring to connect, the world they live in can change for the better.

Suzanne Howes

Suzanne joined BlueAssist as assistant trainer just before the Covid-19 lockdowns. When the charity returned from the Covid-lockdowns at the start of 2023 she was keen to work with BlueAssist UK again. At the start of 2023 Suzanne agreed to take on the role of PA to the CEO and support the work of the Board of Trustees.
As Personal Assistant to Eleanor, she works to ensure the smooth daily running of the charity and helping BlueAssist UK continue to move forward and develop. Suzanne travels across the country with BlueAssist organising everything from proof-reading, to arranging meetings and minutes, to ensuring staff/team welfare during the delivery of BlueAssist training. She is meticulously organised and works with dedication to supporting BlueAssist UK’s ethos.
